Your PMI CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2021 - 2022 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings & Education Sessions. 

Please join the PMI CRB Chapter for our virtual meeting on September 07, 2021. We have a great speaker from Lucas Engineering and Management Services, and attendees will learn about unique project management tools, that helped to recover two fighter jets from Columbia River in 2004.

CHAPTER MEETING & GUEST SPEAKER

5:00 - 6:30 p.m. - "Unique Project Management Tools: How Sonar Mapping and Canines Helped Recover Two F-18 Fighter Jets from the Columbia River" by Jason Brustad from Lucas Engineering and Management Services.

JASON BRUSTAD

Jason M. Brustad is a retired U.S. Navy Master Diver with over 25 years of operational experience in underwater ship repair, maritime and aviation salvage, open-ocean towing, hyperbaric chamber operations and various projects involving national security interests. He has extensive experience working in high-risk training and mission critical environments involving complex open ocean platforms and vessels employing unique, state of the art underwater systems. His work with major U.S. Naval Shipyards and other Department of Defense entities resulted in highly productive and long-term relationships realized to this day.

After retiring from active duty, Jason served as the Waterfront Operations Manager of the west coasts premier, Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility for the Department of the Navy. Prior to joining the Lucas Organizational Performance Training Team, Jason worked as an Event Investigator and Cause Analyst for a prime contractor to the Department of Energy at a major environmental restoration site.

Jason holds an associate degree in Applied Marine Engineering and a bachelor’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Administration and Business Management.
