Your PMI CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2018/19 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings & Education Sessions.

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - “Managing Motivation: Leadership Lessons from an AT Thru-Hike" presented by Kendall Lott, CEO of M Powered Strategies, Inc.
MARK MCDONALD
Mark McDonald has 30+ years of project management experience working as a consultant to large clients. He developed a specialty in achieving positive outcomes for high risk and troubled projects using an Agile framework. Mark focused on developing teams and managing the human dimensions of project management over methods, procedures, and reporting. Today he acts as consultant and advisor to individuals and organizations on learning, performance improvement and outcomes through understanding the human dimensions of project management.
KENDALL LOTT

With over 20 years of experience in the federal government and as a consultant, Kendall Lott is the CEO/President of M Powered Strategies, Inc, a change management consulting firm in Washington DC that supports organizations in public service. His professional background includes government service as a Presidential Management Fellow and as a career civil servant at the Departments of Agriculture and Justice, as well as service as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Micronesia). His government consulting career has included extensive tours in Jordan, India, and Malaysia. His professional interests and experiences are in the economic analysis of projects, business process reengineering, and design, organizational change management, program design, and coaching.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), he served as a volunteer with Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIWDC) for over a decade and was an active member of the board for 8 years. His volunteer roles include executive management, as he has been the COO and CEO of PMIWDC, the Executive Director of the Project Management Day of Service, the Chairman of the Board of the PM4Change non-profit organization, and the host and producer of the PM Point of View® podcast. He has won volunteer leadership awards with PMI at the regional and national level. In 2017, he completed a thru-hike of the 2,189-mile Appalachian Trail.
Kendall is a Gallup certified StrengthFinders® coach, and a Myers Briggs Type Indicator coach. He holds a Master of International Relations from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington.
