    DR. JOSHUA CUNIO

Dr. Joshua Cunio is passionate about driving transformation and growth through strategic project, program, and portfolio management. He leverages over a decade of experience to lead projects that exceed revenue and growth objectives. Dr. Joshua Cunio's journey began in the United States Army, where he honed his leadership skills managing highly skilled teams across complex, global initiatives. This foundation has been instrumental in his approach to business development strategy, team leadership, and creating value propositions that resonate with clients. He is committed to lifelong learning and professional development, currently exploring the correlations between project knowledge areas and their impact on project success to deepen his expertise.

"The Trillion-Dollar Question: Why Our Project Machines Are Designed to Fail"
Globally, project waste costs organizations over $1.5 trillion annually, a staggering figure rooted not in technical failure, but in an organizational culture addicted to speed without learning. This presentation, led by Dr. Joshua Cunio, challenges the fundamental flaw in modern project management: treating Lessons Learned as a mandatory checklist for the archive, the "Knowledge Cemetery", rather than a Causal Engine for future success.

Drawing on Dr. Cunio’s doctoral research, which establishes a statistically significant correlation between applied lessons learned practices and organizational revenue, the presentation provides irrefutable evidence that knowledge hoarding is a financial betrayal.

Attendees will learn how to move beyond basic documentation and adopt the three critical organizational architectures, Trust, Inquiry, and Sharing, required to unlock the human signal and decode the true why behind project setbacks. This session offers a powerful blueprint for every leader committed to transforming their organization from a producer of rework into an adaptive, high-performing system with an ethical and financial imperative for Zero Rework.
