CHAPTER MEETING & GUEST SPEAKER

Your PMI-CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2024 - 2025 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings. Please join the PMI-CRB Chapter for our On-Site or Hybrid (Virtual) on May 06, 2025

Please select the appropriate ticket type (Virtual or On-Site) when you are registering:

  • If you select the On-Site option, please come to the venue at 05:30 PM for Networking

  • If you select the Virtual option, you will receive a link instructions a day before the meeting. The  Zoom meeting starts at 06:30 PM

  • Dinner service starts at 06:00 PM. Dinner is included within the registration fee.

    EVELYN HIRT

    With a multi-disciplinary career in engineering and management, Ms. Hirt’s professional experiences bridge the industrial, government, academic, and consulting communities. Her career has focused on the expert deliver of technology-based solutions to customer and stakeholder needs that include both the creation and execution of corporate strategies for existing and new markets. Her main areas of technical focus are system and controls engineering. Over her career she has advanced from the engineering ranks into risk-based project, program, and team management. This has included functioning as an engineer-researcher, quality professional, line manager, project manager, test director, and consultant/advisor. As a volunteer, she has served on a variety of professional society Boards of Directors at the, Regional, U.S., and global levels. She has a passion for mentoring and is respected as a mentor of technical staff. 

    Some areas where her professional expertise has been applied include radiation and electromagnetic pulse detection, nondestructive evaluation, military and aviation systems, automotive systems, manufacturing systems, reactor systems, safety systems, R&D facility design and management, and technical standards development. Her system engineering activities have involved system specification, design, analysis, test, full-scale engineering development, and deployment of commercial and government systems. Recently, she is providing system engineering support for radiation/nuclear monitoring and Army reactor projects. Additionally, she has significant experience in organizing and managing a variety of technology-based group-activities, conferences, and workshops. These events have spanned a variety of technologies and included in-person and on-line venues. Among these events was organizing a nanotechnology event in Seattle on behalf of NATO, regional INCOSE workshops on systems engineering, and various IEEE technical and leadership conferences/workshops from local to international levels.

    "Creativity in Planning Your Professional Development"

    When planning your professional development opportunities in these uncertain times there is a need to think beyond the traditional.  We will address professional development opportunities that can meet a variety of your needs (e.g., time availability, knowledge preservation versus advancement, skills demonstration, etc.) and that are beyond the more traditional (e.g., formal education, etc.). We will explore the degree of control you can have in identifying your professional development opportunities.

    DINNER MENU - Buffet style dinner. Dinner is included within the registration ticket and fee. 
    NO HOST BAR - As always, a No Host Bar will be available during the Networking.
    REGISTRATION - Required no later than Sunday 11:55 pm immediately preceding the Tuesday meeting. 

    EARN PDU - Earn 1.0 PDU by attending this organization meeting.
