Your PMI CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2021 - 2022 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings & Education Sessions.
Please join the PMI CRB Chapter for our virtual meeting on March 01, 2022. We have a great speaker from Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) in Ephrata, Washington, and attendees will learn about project management in the public utility industry.

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - "Projects and Project Management at the Grant County Public Utility District" by Julie E. Pyper, Senior Manager at Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) in Ephrata, Washington.
JULIE E. PYPER

Julie E. Pyper is a Senior Manager at Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) in Ephrata, Washington. Grant PUD is a public utility providing power and fiber service for Grant County. Grant PUD owns and operates two hydroelectric generating facilities – Wanapum and Priest Rapids dams on the Columbia River in Central Washington.
Ms. Pyper has over 15 years of experience in the public utility sector and 7 years in county government. In her current role at Grant PUD, she led the development and now implementation of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), Organizational Change Management (OCM) Office and program development services as well as overseeing the budgeting and financial analysis functions of the Operations business unit. In her management role, Ms. Pyper focuses not only on the work being done but equally on the people doing the work. She manages to an overarching responsibility to people – employees, contractors, and customers - and the priorities of safety, quality, and efficiency – regardless of the work type. One of the most significant achievements of Ms. Pyper’s project management career was co-managing the Wanapum Spillway fracture incident (2014 - 2016). As of February 2022, her extraordinary Teams manage approximately 55 projects of medium to high risk and complexity, along with providing OCM support to employees and/or customers in over 20 change events.
Ms. Pyper is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, and also holds a certificate in asset management through the Asset Management Institute.
Ms. Pyper currently resides in Central Washington with her husband, daughter, a good handful of horses, cows, and dogs. She is a member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association and enjoys competing in breakaway roping at rodeos and competitions across the West. She also enjoys supporting and encouraging her husband and daughter in their roping and rodeo endeavors.
